DESCRIPTION:REGISTER NOW \n\nJoin your Missouri Gateway Green Building Council for a virtual Green Building Break and an opportunity to learn about the sustainability benefits of straw bale  construction and prefabricated straw bale panel construction that’s happening in Columbia\, MO!  \n\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Adrienne Stolwyk\, Monarch Architecture\, LLC \nAdrienne is a licensed architect in Columbia\, Missouri and owner of Monarch Architecture\, LLC\, focusing primarily on custom residential and high-performance design. A long-time straw bale construction enthusiast\, Adrienne worked on site-built straw bale construction projects in Missouri\, New Mexico\, Utah\, and her own backyard. In 2022 she and her husband\, Adam Saunders\, completed the construction of a net-positive straw-cell Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU). Through these experiences\, Adrienne saw the need for a less labor intensive way of building with straw. In 2024 she and four co-owners founded Building Integrity (BI)\, LLC\, Missouri’s first producer of prefabricated straw-insulated wall\, floor\, roof panels. BI is a participant in the “Seed Collaborative” – a growing collection of businesses across the country that are learning and evolving a straw panel design developed by Vermont-based New Frameworks. Adrienne is passionate about bio-based materials’ potential for improving human health and sequestering carbon\, now with greater speed and reach from off-site prefabrication! \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n\nREGISTER NOW\n\n\n  \nIn 2024\, our Coffee Break Series transitioned to a slightly longer Green Building Break Series. These sessions will take place on the 3rd or 4th Fridays from 12:00pm-1:00pm\, varying between in person tours and Zoom webinars. Join for a free learning lunch break discussing green building and sustainability hot topics with local\, national\, and sometimes international featured guests!
