DESCRIPTION:REGISTER NOW \nGreen Professional Building Skills Training – Operations & Maintenance Essentials\nLearn how to reduce energy use while improving comfort and health for building occupants! \nBuilding design & construction gets a lot of attention\, but the majority of energy that a building uses over time is related to how the building is operated and maintained. Efficient operations and smart maintenance in buildings reduces operating costs and increases occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction. GPRO O&M Essentials provides building professionals with best practices for sustainability building operations. Participants leave with at least three immediately actionable measures and the next steps needed to achieve them. We will be hosted by the Office of Sustainability in the Schnuck Pavilion\, a LEED v3 Platinum building\, part of the East End transformation\, which includes a large underground parking garage\, five new buildings\, and an addition to the Kemper Art Museum. The other LEED buildings on the East End campus are Jubel Hall (LEED v3 Platinum) Weil Hall (LEED v3 Platinum)\, Sumers Welcome Center (LEED v3 Platinum)\, and McKelvey Hall (LEED v4 Gold).
