Annual Green Schools Event

Help us celebrate all participants of the Show-Me Green Schools suite of programs! This event is free and open to the public, and we encourage all those interested in celebrating our state-wide school sustainability programs to join us.

Agenda:

• 5:30pm – Doors open and Zoom call opens
• 5:30-6:00pm – Students present their project posters in the Grand Hall, or students present their digital presentations on Zoom. Light refreshments will be served for in-person attendees. PLEASE register so we know how many people to plan for!
• 6:10pm – Awards Ceremony begins in lower level auditorium and will be livestreamed via Zoom
  • Awards include recognition of National Green Ribbon Award Winners, the announcement of Missouri Green Schools new levels for 2027, and the announcement of Green Schools Quest winners
• 7:15pm – Zoom call will end, in-person attendees are asked to take a group photo on the steps of the Missouri History Museum

Volunteers:

• Student award presenters should arrive no later than 5:15pm and go directly to the lower level auditorium to practice at the podium
• Set-up volunteers should arrive between 4:00 and 4:30pm and go directly to the Grand Hall on the main level
• Event volunteers should arrive by 5:30pm and go directly to the designated volunteer station
• Clean-up volunteers should arrive by 6:00pm and go directly to the Grand Hall on the main level
