Green Building Break – TRUE: Certification for Zero Waste

Join us to learn about TRUE certification for zero waste at this free webinar! By closing the loop, TRUE projects cut greenhouse gases, manage risk, reduce litter and pollution, reinvest resources locally, create jobs and add more value for their company and community.
We will hear from:
Stephanie Barger the Director, Market Transformation & Development for TRUE Certification. Stephanie is responsible for the growth and development of the TRUE Certification, which was acquired by GBCI in 2016 and was previously known as U.S. Zero Waste Business Council, which Barger formed in January 2012.
True Manufacturing Company – a Missouri company with locations O’Fallon, Bowling Green, Mexico, and Pacific – that achieved TRUE Gold certification for their building in O’Fallon. True Manufacturing committed to a goal of zero waste in 2017 and achieved a 92.24% diversion rate with their 2026 TRUE certification. They will share their journey to zero waste.
