REGISTER NOW What does it look like when a community center embraces a community-driven, holistic approach to going green? Join us on July 19th for a tour of the new Five Oaks on Warson community center designed by KAI. Motivated by input from city officials and residents, the center was designed to embrace its natural setting, incorporate natural materials in its construction and maximize visual connections between interior and exterior. On the tour, Beverly Tucker Knight, Director of Parks & Recreation for the City of Olivette, will share more about how the center embodies sustainability from inside and out, from design, construction and operations of the building, to native landscaping and integration with the extension of the Centennial Greenway in collaboration with Great Rivers Greenway. After the tour and Q&A, we hope you can join us for a group lunch at the nearby Sugarfire Smokehouse to continue the conversation!
