The UN Sustainable Development Goals are a global roadmap for peace and prosperity, serving as a call to action for the most pressing social issues currently facing the planet and its people. It is important that businesses, in addition to governments, drive for results that contribute to the intent of the goals. Having positive and productive conversations about climate change is a great way to open the door to solutions-focused thinking and a problem-solving mindset. During the Nov 2nd Connect on the Quest, Hannah Phillips, Manager of Docents and Interpreters for the Saint Louis Zoo will review the principles of both climate change and climate change communication to help us learn the most productive ways to discuss the topic. Presentation material is informed by the National Network for Ocean and Climate Change Interpretation network (NNOCCI) for which Hannah is a certified trainer. |
