Access to clean air is essential for human health, productivity and comfort. While many builders, owners, facilities managers, and their service providers invest significant resources to achieve safe, satisfactory air quality in spaces where people work, sleep, learn, and play, others may not prioritize or understand measures to improve indoor air. Join us to learn how USGBC is working with its research and policy partners and communities of practice to expand indoor air quality performance verification and proactive resilience planning in buildings, expanding on our work to promote and scale foundational IAQ strategies.

USGBC's Advocacy & Policy Team will share the state of play for existing buildings policy in the U.S. We will highlight developments in local and state government, including the latest on building performance standards and LEED tools, and financing with PACE. We will also introduce a Federal policy proposal to incentivize investment in building efficiency through an efficiency investment tax credit.
